One of my favorite things to do…
May 28, 2008
This picture was taken at approximately 6:15 in the morning. I was actually 1/2 hr later than I had planned on being there, but I got a teensie bit lost and ended up in Ipswich as opposed to Rowley. This is the biggest flea market in the area. I had to be home by 8:00 to get us to church on time. I would love more than anything to just go to Todd’s once with no time constraint. I would be so happy. I could poke to my heart’s content…I wouldn’t even have to buy anything. Well, I don’t know if I would ever agree to that, but I would be soooo good. Is that too much to ask? Is it sac-religous? Jesus knows I love him. I would tell everyone at the flea market how much I love Him if I could spend the day there…really. I don’t think one itty bitty day of corrupting our family values would be frowned upon…I think Jesus thinks a day there would be in my family’s best interest. Happy mommy=Happy kids+Happy Daddy=NO BRAINER!
“Try something new Tuesday” postponed…
May 27, 2008
Much to my kid’s delight! Every Tuesday night around here is “try something new” for dinner. I have THE pickiest crew on the planet…
Daddy is out at a meeting so I will be making an executive decision to give them whatever they want tonight.

One of my favorite movies…
May 20, 2008
Tonight after the kids go to bed I am going to watch “Funny Face”. I love Audrey, and I am so in the mood for some quiet time with a big bowl of popcorn. Actually, I am always in the mood for quiet time and any sort of munchie food…particularly anything chocolate, but I am being good…for now anyway.

Sunday Supper…
May 18, 2008
Every Sunday night at our house is breakfast night. Tonight on the menu is scrambled eggs with cheese and toast for myself and my husband, and pancakes for the kids. This tradition started way back when Dave and I got married in ‘94 and has pretty much been a constant for our family through the years. We look forward to “breakfast night” more than any other meal.
Dave is playing in a golf tornament today so the kids and I are on our own. Another Sunday tradition in the Drescher house is the grocery shopping. Not so fun without Daddy. They will behave though…I have a secret weapon…For every “incident” involving any naughtiness whatsoever, instead of time out…I make them go to a yard sale. Hee hee.
